Harold Greene is a Scandinavian writer exploring power and community. His debut novel, The Architects of Control (Black Trumpet Press, June 2026), is a political thriller about AI, surveillance, and voter manipulation in rural Maine.

Before turning to fiction, Greene spent fifteen years with the United Nations, working across crisis coordination, governance, and peacebuilding with postings across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. He holds a master's in organizational psychology from the London School of Economics and now works on rural development in Maine.

He lives and writes in Hallowell, Maine.
