As a child, Haley Anna Marie’s deafness inspired her to create stories to accompany the pictures in books. After her hearing was restored, storytelling became a lifelong passion. Haley Anna Marie writes grim mythic fantasy where love stings and heroes falter. Her Elementas series weaves elemental magic, flawed characters, and divine interference into stories of endurance, sacrifice, and survival. With a degree in psychology and a minor in criminology, Haley Anna Marie previously worked in forensic interviewing and investigation, experiences that inform her unflinching approach to power, trauma, and survival. She now balances life as a stay-at-home mom to identical twin boys by day and an author by night.
