Greg Thomas, born in San Angelo, Texas, attended Central High where he was a three sport athlete and a member of the choral program. He received an athletic scholarship to the University of Arkansas where he was a four year lettermen and three year starter at the quarterback position. Greg became the 1st Black starting quarterback and is the winningest in school history. His first book, No Doubting Thomas "Hawg Whisperer" My Arkansas Memoirs, a 5 X Award Winning book, chronicles his journey. #MakingBelievers, is his second manuscript, as an assistant coach, shares the incredible 2023-2024 Plano East boys basketball drive for it's first UIL state championship. Greg is a 29 year member of public education in Plano ISD working with the Student, Family Services and Community Department. He and his wife, Rebecca, have a blended family of 7 children and 10 grandchildren and reside in Celina, Texas.
