Grant Gillespie is a professional actor, screenwriter, and novelist who lives in Bloomsbury, London. His debut novel, THE CUCKOO BOY, was described by the Guardian as ‘an emotionally visceral debut,’ and the Observer said, ‘through James and David, Gillespie explores the chasm between how children and adults perceive the world, and the devastating consequences of falling through this gap. The Cuckoo Boy is a savage indictment of hypocrisy and forced social convention.’ His short story, THE UPPER HAND, is published by Simon Schuster in He Played For His Wife and Other Stories. Grant is currently working on his next novel, a ghost story set in Scotland after the Second World War.
