Wilmington, NC (USA) is my hometown. Mother was told I would not live to be 3 years old upon my birth in 1937. My childhood was filled with poor health and illness. Mother received a note from my third grade teacher saying I was deaf, dumb and blind which was true until I received needed help. I lived in a very negative environment, being put-down frequently (even by professors) and sometimes the butt of jokes. My turn-around came by reading positive thinking books. Ignoring negative remarks and overcoming poverty, I graduated from Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) in Wilson, NC and then earned my Masters of Divinity at Lexington Theological Seminary (where I met and married my wife). At age 58 my health failed. It was restored through nutrition after prescriptions failed. My 'retirement' years are dedicated to spreading the word that the right nutritional program will help avoid many of the pains, aches and failing eyesight of growing older. It pains me to see people suffer needlessly. My philosophy is 'Let's enjoy living a healthy, pain free life until we die. While regaining my health I became involved with a group of experts in the field of nutrition and healing. Later I became acquainted with a number of Integrative medical professionals by involving myself in their nutritional and medical summits. These experiences are what gave me the knowledge to write my books. I remain a student of modern advances in these areas as well as other important worldwide changes you will not find in the conventional news media. My first book, "What Your Doctor Doesn't Know Might Kill You" was published in 2005. It was later updated with the title being changed to "Modern Nutrition Breakthrough Secrets" to distinguish it from another book with a similar name but a different author.
