George F. Kacenga has championed the value of higher education for nearly 30 years. He currently serves as Vice President for Enrollment Management at William Paterson University of New Jersey. His career spans public, private, and highly ranked academic institutions, including roles as a Senior International Officer and leadership positions with Purdue University Northwest, the University of Colorado Denver, and the University of Pittsburgh, as well as industry experience as AVP of University Partnerships with M Square Media.

A Fulbright Administrator Award recipient, Dr. Kacenga holds a Ph.D. in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. He specializes in executive leadership, domestic and international enrollment management, and return-on-investment analysis. He is also actively involved in AIRC (Past-President), NAFSA, TAICEP, NACAC, AACRAO, AIEA, and FEA, and was recently elected President-Elect of LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education. Whether writing about higher education or for young readers, he is drawn to stories that help people feel seen, welcomed, and empowered to grow.
