Gene Wojciechowski spent nearly 26 years at ESPN, where he earned multiple Sports Emmys and Edward R. Murrow awards for his work as a reporter for College GameDay, SportsCenter and E:60. He also was a longtime member of the network's coverage of the Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open and Open Championship. He has authored or co-authored 13 books, including three bestsellers, and has been honored by the Golf Writers Association of America, the Football Writers Association of America, the Associated Press Sports Editors, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, and The Best American Sports Writing annual for his work as columnist and features writer. Wojciechowski is the Edward J. Meeman Distinguished Professor at the University of Tennessee, his alma mater. He and his wife, Cheryl, live in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Wheaton, Illinois.
