Stories come to me in a rush. Like a hurricane, they come whirling into my mind like a hundred mile an hour wind and at the oddest times. It never fails. When it happens, I desperately search for the closest piece of paper and a pen or pencil, so I can write the story before I forget it. And . . .sometimes I almost feel “pushed” to get the book completed and to the public . . . you! Same thing happens with lyrics – I wrote "Your Song - the Ten Commandments Song" on a plane in the margins of the book I was reading! Seeing kids and adults read my books is exciting. For the last several years I have given my books out on Halloween with, of course, a piece of candy. I will do it again this year. The reaction from the kids and parents is priceless. Kids want to stop trick or' treating and sit down to read their new book that moment. It’s pure joy! Kids shout out, "There’s the Lady that gives out books!" as they run up to the house to get a new book. My heart leaps as a smile spread across my face. Helping kids to read while teaching skills from rhyming to observation to numbers, to the true meaning of Christmas and more is, well, I can’t find the words. Funny! I can’t find the words! Thank you for buying my books, reviewing, liking, and sharing each book with family, friends, schools, and colleagues. My books are great gifts for different ages. Enjoy your “scroll” through the titles and filling your cart. Oh, by the way, "Caught in the Crosshairs of War " is non-fiction and my eyewitness account. The rest of my books are fiction, fun and educational, and spark creativity. FYI: Combining my Master's and Bachelor's degrees and my life experience, helps me to create books that are quietly educational. In other words – kids and adults learn without realizing it and could be learning about problem solving, art, Spanish, or diving into a creative stories, thoughts or drawings as they read my book.
