Fran Clark is the author of emotive women’s fiction that draws inspiration from the rich cultural connection between London and the Caribbean. Born to Dominican parents and raised in West London, she writes stories that explore identity, family, and the resilience of women—often influenced by the vivid storytelling of her mother, whose tales of Caribbean life and migration left a lasting impact. Her debut novel, Holding Paradise, was first published in 2014 and later reimagined as the opening novel in the Island Secrets Series, published in 2024. Fran’s writing journey has also included a standalone novel, Lovers. Wherever You Will Go is her latest novel. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Brunel University and has written fiction, blog content, and short stories, as well as working as a ghostwriter and copywriter. Fran now lives in the English countryside with her musician husband. Alongside writing, she teaches vocals and leads a local choir. She also writes contemporary fiction under the pseudonym Rosa Temple. Connect with Fran on franclarkauthordotcodotuk for updates, news, giveaways and more!
