Felice Hardy's memoir, The Tennis Champion Who Escaped The Nazis, is based on her family's history from the early 20th century. The book won first place in the biography category of the PenCraft 2025 awards, winner of the historical category of the International Impact Book Awards 2025, and third place in the memoir category of The BookFest 2025 awards. The Tennis Champion Who Escaped The Nazis has been translated into Czech: Tenisová šampionka, která unikla nacistům. Her book is now an episode of BBC World Service's Lives Less Ordinary series. Felice is also a travel writer who has toured the world for a wide variety of publications including The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Times and Sunday Times, Condé Nast Traveller, Tatler, Country Life and BA Highlife magazine. Together with her husband, Peter, she has written and co-edited 25 travel guidebooks, and for 15 years she edited a ski website. Today she co-hosts a podcast called Action Packed Travel. Felice and Peter have just written a family saga that also evolves from a true story with generational trauma at the heart of it.
