Fazal Moneer Adil is an author, speaker, and advocate based in Des Moines, Iowa. Born in a refugee camp in Pakistan to Afghan refugee parents, he taught himself English and computer skills, laying the foundation for his modern education. He later served as an interpreter with U.S. Special Operatives in Afghanistan before resettling in Iowa in 2021. His life has been an odyssey across South Asia, the Middle East, and the United States in search of dreams and opportunity.
