FABIO PAOLO MARCHESI
Inventor, Author, Independent Researcher
A member of the New York Academy of Sciences by invitation since 1991, he holds degrees in Computer Science with a focus on quantum computing and in Engineering (ITS, Switzerland).
A former national swimming team member, he began his research career developing software for athlete testing for the Study and Research Centre of the Italian Swimming Federation and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
In 1985, he developed FITcomp, the world’s first software for three-compartment body composition analysis, using three independent algorithms to calculate fat, muscle and bone mass. It is still used today by numerous practitioners, physicians, sports teams and athletic trainers. He collaborated with the Metabolic Intake Study Group at the University of Milan and developed groundbreaking nutrition and training software, including DIETcomp and TRAINcomp. As an expert in body composition analysis systems and natural weight-loss technologies, he has been invited to speak at numerous conferences, including Clinical Nutrition in Amsterdam and Obesity in Santiago, Chile.
He holds several international patents, including the pioneering infrared technology MIACT (Marchesi Infrared Adipocytes Catabolism Technology), designed to activate aerobic metabolism—the only technology scientifically demonstrated to be effective in targeted fat reduction. It is now used in hundreds of specialised centres in Italy and abroad. His inventions also include BioDream, the “Joy Machine”, the world’s first photobiomodulation bed, presented on the *Maurizio Costanzo Show* in 2001.
He has published 11 books, translated into several languages. These include the bestseller *La fisica dell’Anima* (*The Physics of the Soul*), which has sold over 100,000 copies and received the Montale Award in 2026. In this book, he formulated new paradigms by applying quantum phenomena to human experience, earning him the descriptions “Frontier Scientist” and “Engineer of the Soul”. His work led to an invitation to present the core findings of his research into human consciousness at the prestigious United Nations Headquarters in New York in 2014. He was invited to speak there again in 2015 to mark the International Day of Happiness.
By applying the revolutionary theories described in his bestselling book *Amati! La vera rivoluzione è amare se stessi* (*Love Yourself! The True Revolution Is Loving Yourself*), he achieved several world records in Masters swimming relay events while training just one-tenth as much as he had at the age of 20.
He is also the author of the bestseller *La Luce che Cura: perché il Sole ti fa bene, e perché non si vuole che tu lo sappia* (*The Light That Heals: Why the Sun Is Good for You—and Why They Don’t Want You to Know*). Thanks in part to his patents involving the use of light, he is regarded as Italy’s leading expert in the therapeutic applications of light. In 2023, he was appointed Full Professor at ISFOA in Switzerland for the course “The Light That Heals”.
On 9 September 2009, he founded Entusiasmologia, the art of making oneself happy and fortunate.
In 2016, he was invited to participate as a co-organiser and speaker in the International Day of Happiness celebrations at the United Nations Headquarters and was appointed an Advisor with a diplomatic visa.
His discoveries, books, inventions and courses have helped hundreds of thousands of people improve their physical, mental and emotional well-being, starting with awareness of, and loving respect for, their true nature.
Alongside light, his two great passions are quantum physics and Hermetic philosophy. His primary source of knowledge, however, remains intuition. His awareness of the invisible stems above all from the many experiences of transcendence and bliss he has personally lived through. These experiences led him to establish Entusiasmologia on 9 September 2009: the art of cultivating happiness independently through a direct, conscious connection with one’s divine essence.
His research embraces an approach to science that also encompasses the invisible dimension of existence. He regularly delivers courses and lectures.
