Fabio M.Mitchelli is a writer, musician and actor. He is the author of psychological thrillers inspired by real events, including "The Devil’s Compassion", "A Dark Forest", "The Mirror Killer" and, more recently, "The Wolf in the Sheepfold", a thriller inspired by Michel Lambin’s criminal escalation, and who is staging a forensic investigator at the Metz Crime Squad, Commander Samuel Steiner. "La compassion du diable", published by Fleur Sauvage in October 2014, was awarded the Dora-Suarez Crime Novel Award 2015. He was also a finalist for the 2016 Saint-Maur Pocket Award, and a finalist for the 2016 Moustiers Pocket Award. "Le loup dans la bergerie", published by Robert Laffont in February 2021, was the winner of the 2021 Polar Mediterranean Prize and the finalist of the 2022 Évêché Prize.
