My name is Evan B. Farrior, born in Jersey City, New Jersey. I began writing poetry in 1969, and my work has appeared in numerous anthologies and publications over the past three decades. Two of my poems were featured on Sound of Poetry, a CD produced by The National Library of Poetry, which has also published several of my poetry collections. My first book, Enoch: A Faith Tale, was published in 1995, followed by my poetry book Love Is a Strange Thing in 2002. Three of my poems have been turned into songs, and I have received many honors, including U.S. Ambassador of Poetry, Golden Poet Award, and Poet of the Year. I currently serve as Chief Administrative Officer at Evan B Farrior Ministries Corporation and continue to write to inspire and uplift readers through faith and poetry.
