I was born in the Bronx, New York, in the 1950’s. I lived on the Grand Concourse if you are familiar with that area! Hard to believe, but I've been married for 40 years and have 2 grown sons. I adore the family Havanese rescue dog, Einstein, and often wonder who rescued who? Our entire family has been enriched by his presence in our lives. My favorite things to do are to read, (and write of course!), solve puzzles of all kinds, and hike the mountains of New Jersey with Einstein at my side…or in my arms when he gets tired! I began to rethink my opinion of our justice system and the Death Penalty when I saw the play Exonerated in New York City a number of years ago. I became deeply interested in the controversial issue of the death penalty and the lives of the victims and perpetrators. I hope to create more awareness concerning the many pitfalls in our justice system and the punishments meted out, guilty or otherwise. Whether or not you share my views after reading Death Row Innocence? Criminal Justice or In-Justice, my hope is that you will get an accurate picture of how our current system sometimes takes a skewed view of those accused.
