Eric James is a writer, editor, and former international journalist with experience writing for publication in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Eric James’s emerging literary territory is the new global elite civilization. His work occupies the intersection of artificial intelligence, geopolitical rivalry, immense wealth, luxury mobility, and emotionally fractured human relationships. This fictional universe spans Shanghai, Davos, Hong Kong, Singapore, Zurich, Dubai, Palo Alto, Bangkok, and the Alps — places where billionaires, technologists, sovereign wealth actors, intelligence operatives, founders, and policy makers collide in a new kind of global court society.

At the core of these stories is a recurring tension between humanity and systems. James’ fiction explores what happens when people attempt to sustain love, morality, and emotional meaning inside technological structures optimized for scale, surveillance, influence, and profit. Artificial intelligence is not merely a technological subject in these novels; it acts as a mirror exposing civilization’s fractures — misinformation, collapsing trust, elite manipulation, loneliness, and the moral instability of a hyperconnected world.

The emphasis is not on gadgets or apocalypse, but on atmosphere, psychology, power networks, and emotional stakes. The mood is cinematic, sensual, and looks unwaveringly at the quiet loneliness of people who can access everything except peace.

James’ novels are a fictional exploration of how the emerging global order actually feels from the inside — intimate, seductive, unstable, and increasingly difficult to trust.
