Elton Varfi is an Albanian writer, novelist and researcher born in Durrës, Albania, and based in Italy. His work spans investigative fiction, psychological thrillers, short stories, linguistic research and historical studies, with a particular focus on Albanian history, language, identity and collective memory. His writing moves between fiction and non-fiction, combining narrative construction with documentary research. From the atmosphere and psychological tension of mystery fiction to the study of history, language and cultural memory, his work reflects a continuing interest in the relationship between individual lives, identity and the broader forces of history.
