I'm Elisabetta. It was FRANCO ZEFFIRELLI who changed my life with a piece of advice, many years ago, during a break on the set of one of his films.

Ever since I was a child, I had breathed in the magic of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg's films, swept away by John Williams' unforgettable scores. And from that spark — where wonder meets music — my truest passion was born: telling stories. For years I had written screenplays and film treatments, convinced that was the only way into the cinema I loved so much. It was ZEFFIRELLI, with the warmth he was known for, who suggested I change course: write novels, not treatments — because if those novels became great stories, cinema itself would come looking for them one day. I took his advice seriously. I've been writing ever since.

That's how "MESSAGGIO DALL'INFINITO" ("Message from the Infinite") came to be — a novel suspended between science fiction and the supernatural, for anyone who loves Spielberg-style storytelling. A direct tribute to the sense of wonder that made me a writer.

But my heart beats just as strongly for coming-of-age fiction: for young people growing up, for the hard questions they carry with them, for the adults who walk beside them through it. That's where "NESSUN VOTO" ("No Grades") comes from — a coming-of-age tale for anyone facing the journey into adulthood, and for the teachers who share that journey with them. It's a novel I wanted to bring to life on a grand scale: the AUDIOBOOK edition features an ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK, composed specifically for the story by Enzo De Rosa, a film composer, because I wanted reading to become an experience to live, not just imagine.
