Since 1987, E.L. has been a pilot in many different capacities. During that time, she would write in her journal. She would write in pilot’s lounges, on the floors of ladies’ rooms, hotel lobbies, dive diners, even while on the ramp waiting for passengers to arrive. Along the course of her career writing began to take the front seat and aviation became the hobby. She is a Chicago native, currently residing in Tulsa, OK. She is a STEM ambassador and advocate who writes feverishly and occasionally demos vintage airplanes and new jets.
