E. G. Creanor writes fantasy novels about friendship, adventure, music, war and people making spectacularly questionable decisions.

He is also a lifelong gardener, which may explain why he has an unhealthy appreciation for plants.

When he isn't writing, he can usually be found digging holes in a garden, wandering through the countryside, or trying to convince himself that buying yet another plant is perfectly reasonable.

His writing is inspired by folklore, nature, music and the strange, wonderful and occasionally ridiculous things people do to one another.

Song of the Silent is his first novel.

It contains swords, kingdoms, friendship, war and a man who really likes plants.

He considers this a perfectly sensible combination.
