Dylan Keuning has spent most of his adult life challenging the status quo—sometimes in loud words, other times in quiet defiance. He was born and raised in South Africa, a beautiful country with deep struggles: high unemployment, disturbing crime and murder rates, and a currency slowly evaporating under the weight of rapid inflation. Like most, he was taught that success followed a simple formula—get good grades, land a respectable job, and "save" what you could along the way. Even as a teenager, Dylan knew something was off. High school felt more like a system of compliance than a place for real learning. The more he questioned its purpose, the more disillusioned he became. Refusing to be indoctrinated by a system that rewarded obedience over original thinking, he set out to forge his own path. At the age of 19, Dylan immigrated to the United States, where he built a life grounded in entrepreneurship, self-education, and the pursuit of freedom. His curiosity eventually led him deep into the mechanics of money, currency, and value—and ultimately to Bitcoin, where he found not just a financial tool, but a philosophy rooted in personal sovereignty. He is the author of Bread, Circuses and Bitcoin, a bold call to rethink what we’ve been taught about money, wealth, and the systems shaping our lives. Today, Dylan uses his voice to empower others to pursue freedom through financial literacy and independent thinking.
