Dylan Goddard is a Welsh writer whose work blends raw emotion with fierce, poetic intensity. Shaped by rain-soaked hills, quiet coastal towns, and a lifelong fascination with the edges of human experience, he writes about collapse, grief, rebirth, and the strange beauty hidden inside our darkest moments. His books move between lyrical prose, uncompromising poetry, and hard-edged reflections on what breaks us, what remakes us, and what survives when the world falls apart. Through his imprint, Stardust Rebellion Press, he creates work for readers who feel deeply and refuse to look away. Alongside his writing, Dylan is also an artist and independent perfumer, building a multi-sensory creative world where image, language, and scent collide. His work is driven by the belief that art should be felt with the whole body — not just read. He writes for the ones who’ve walked through fire and come out carrying their own light, turning hurt into clarity, memory into meaning, and ordinary moments into something that might just save us for one more day. He is the author of Detonation, Recognition, Ashes of the Ordinary, Now or Never, When the Wind Carried Her Name, and Dancing With the End of the World. He lives and writes in Wales.
