Dr. Joy Kwakuyi is a respected integrative psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, pastor, and life coach, who helps progressive individuals to recover from mood disorders and attain personal fulfillment in their lives. He is the Founder and Director of Faith Integrated Psychiatry, where he works mainly with politicians, business and non-profit executives, lawyers, pastors, and healthcare professionals, and speaks to various audiences with the goal of optimizing their psychosocial functioning and finding fulfillment in life. In his work, he leverages and advocates integrative psychiatric and Christian interventions based on his Authentic Healing Process (AHP) and Personal Fulfillment Roadmap (PFR). He sits on the medical executive committee and peer review committee at Connections Health Solutions. Dr. Kwakuyi holds a doctor of nursing practice degree and a master of science degree from the University of South Alabama, a bachelor’s degree and a post baccalaureate certificate in nursing from the University of Connecticut, a master’s degree from the University of London, and a bachelor’s degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He has about 15 years of professional experience and 30 years of Christian ministry experience in Africa, Europe, and the USA. Dr. Kwakuyi has spent most of his adult life providing hope and healing to the emotionally hurting. With the help of his wife Esenam and friends, he started and pastors the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Impact Chapel in Tucson (www.impactchapel.org).
