Dr. Charles E. Haigh has spent more than twenty years in IT service management, HR technology, and organizational transformation for global companies, but the question that has driven his career is simpler than any of those titles suggest: why do some teams thrive while others, with the same tools and the same pressures, quietly fall apart?

He found his answer in an unlikely place. His doctoral research documented an IT operation in Hyderabad, India that recorded zero voluntary turnover during the Great Resignation, a period when companies worldwide were losing talent at historic rates. That case study became the foundation of his book, Culture Is Not a Poster — It's Everything. His conclusion: culture is not a slogan on a wall or an annual survey. It is the accumulated weight of what leaders actually do, measured in moments most of them never notice.

Dr. Haigh holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and is an ITIL Expert, a SHRM Senior Certified Professional, and a certified practitioner of the Denison organizational culture assessment. He has led teams across the United States, India, and beyond, spanning industries from professional services to manufacturing to healthcare.
He writes for leaders who suspect their culture problem will not be solved by another poster, another pizza party, or another engagement survey, and who are ready to do the harder, more rewarding work of leading in a way people choose not to leave.

He lives in New York and is at work on his next project.
