For 20+ years, I've written about how people can live a more effective and meaningful life in their careers, organizations, families, and communities. Along the way I also wrote about technology, history and higher education. To date I've written or coauthored 16 books. I'm also a former media executive who creates thought leadership programs for business and university clients, incorporating editorial, marketing, Internet and social media content development. I led publishing at The New York Times, Monster.com, Random House, AT&T. For 10 years I worked part time as an executive coach and career transition counselor. I wrote and spoke frequently on topics like human capital management, recognition, motivation, how teams work effectively. I've written innumerable articles on business, networking, careers, recruitment, interviewing, self-assessment, and technology. I have expertise in company culture, social media, human capital, online publishing, editorial strategy, content development and content marketing.
