The seed that grew into The Engaged Groom was first planeted at PlanetGordon.com, a blog I started one year before my 2004 wedding. Focusing almost exclusively on our engagedment and wedding planning, the blog began to draw national attention, and was featured on Salon.com and in articles in US News & World Report, the New York Post, and other magazines and newspapers. As an unofficial spokesperson for grooms everywhere, I have been interviewed and featured on "The Today Show" on NBC, and on radio stations across the country. I have been quoted in Modern Bride, USA Today, the New York Daily News, the Village Voice, the Chicago Tribune, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and more. I am also a television producer and writer and have worked on shows such as "Modern Marvels" for The History Channel, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" for ABC, as well as programs for Vh1 and Court TV. I grew up in Andover, Massuchusetts, graduated from Tufts University, and now live in Brooklyn, New York with my wife, Leora Kaye. She's a rabbi and I'm an agnostic. Go figure.
