Dr. Dietmar Sternad is a Professor of International Management at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Austria, an experienced management educator, and the founder and CEO of the publishing company econcise. Before entering academia, he served as CEO of several publishing companies.

His work focuses on making management and leadership knowledge accessible, practical, and engaging. He has received several national and international awards for his teaching and academic work.

Dietmar also studied Historical Studies at the University of Oxford. In 2025, he received the T. E. Lawrence Award from Jesus College, Oxford, for his research on monastic life in the Late Middle Ages.
