Diane is a proud Northerner. Born in Yorkshire and grew up Lancashire, though she has moved around a lot – twenty years in the Middle East and now living part of the time in the Midlands and part in the beautiful forests of the Dordogne any roots that she has are planted firmly in the North of England. Through the years, there has been an assortment of jobs. Veterinary nurse with the RSPCA, nursing auxiliary, secretary, PA, Human Resources Officer, and medical receptionist. All from a very dodgy start in a secondary school in sixties Liverpool. It’s been varied and interesting, and now, living the dream writing full time, she counts her many blessings and thanks her many lucky stars, and of course her family who listen to her blather on about books with fixed smiles..
