Born and raised in South Florida, Diane Jacques comes from a long line of inspired storytellers, beginning with her grandmother Kate. No one could spin a yarn quite like her, and Diane was enthralled by Kate’s endless stories. Kate’s daughter Bea, Diane's mother, continued the tradition, but confined her masterful fiction to the pages of her books and short stories. Her writing career spanned a remarkable seven decades.
