Desiree has been married to her husband, Duane, for 29 years and is the mom of two grown children, Kyle and David. She is the author of Created to Relate: Living Beyond Religion, where she shares her journey from legalism and religious mindsets into a life-giving relationship with Jesus—and the transformative impact it has had on every area of her life. Through her story, she leaves readers with meaningful nuggets of truth and hope they can carry into their own lives. Desiree is a mentor and deeply involved in her local church. She is a speaker who enjoys speaking at women’s retreats and events, and most of all, she is blessed by the relationships made along the way. Her desire is to help women know they are seen, known, and loved—by her and, more importantly, by our Heavenly Father. She longs to meet women right where they are, in the places they may feel stuck, walking alongside them with compassion, encouragement, and hope.
