David Spiller OBE is a writer and former British Council officer. David spent his most of his career working for the British Council - notably in India, Egypt, Iraq and Brazil. He lives in Barrow upon Soar, near Loughborough with his wife. He has two grown up children. When he isn't writing, David spends most of his time watching cricket and walking to and from the local Co-op in search of Maltesers.
