He was published by the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and New York Daily News and appeared on national TV programs, including The Doctors TV Show, and numerous radio shows and podcasts. With candor, humor, and a unique perspective informed by science and experience, David advocated for evidence-based approaches to drug policy, prevention, and treatment until he passed away in 2022.
