About the Author A creative communicator who spends much of his time traveling to consult and design AV systems for businesses, ministries, and performance venues of all sizes, David has become well-known as a thought leader for Christian faith-based organizations and ministries of all denominations. Beyond his aptitude for understanding and maximizing possibilities in room acoustics, audio imaging, projection, LED video, lighting, scene design, and staging, he has earned the respect of his peers and clients for his talent and tenacity for finding more effective communication solutions for every venue. Calling upon his innate curiosity, problem-solving skills, and voracious appetite for learning, David has studied continuously from a young age—formally in psychology and theology and informally with mentors and peers—to continually evolve his knowledge right alongside the lightning-paced audiovisual industry he serves. Also influenced by his early struggles to overcome significant learning differences, David developed from an early age the ability to see challenges and solutions in new ways that tend to resonate with others. Over the years David has taught AV design classes at industry events, including those held by the National Association of Broadcasters, Live Design International, Infocomm, Worship Facilities Expo, and the American Institute of Architects. He has also spoken at national leadership conferences across the country and around the world.
