Born in London in 1956, David McMillan worked as a film technician before joining the drug-law reform movement. In the late ‘70s, McMillan became a smuggler between Asia and Australia, then South America and Europe. Although the contraband network was sophisticated, misfortune resulted in arrest and trial, twice resulting in potential death sentences in Asia. In April, 2017, David McMillan publishes 'Unforgiving Destiny - The Relentless Pursuit of a Black Marketeer', focussing on his time in Afghanistan & Baluchistan and the pursuit by an obsessive US DEA agent.
