As a child in Scarborough my mum was a waitress, my dad a drunken womaniser and my sister smoked a pipe.
I showed literary ability from an early age, especially composing essay's, upsetting posh children in the process who deemed themselves better than me.
On leaving school with not much Academically I drifted from job to job with little in the way of ambition or life expectancy in general.
Homeless coupled with incarceration I spiralled very quickly to rock bottom, only at that point did I dust myself down with a vow to fight back.
I became a drifter, travelling around the UK doing non menial tasks for financial retribution until eventually I bagged a wife, child, self respect and a coffee machine.
Started writing poetry a few years ago in an attempt to relay my experiences and Northern humour to the masses, hope it is appreciated.
