David Alsop has spent more than 20 years building HR functions that generate real business results, working across iconic consumer brands including Kraft Foods, Nabisco, and Oscar Mayer before becoming CHRO at Ultradent Products, Inc. His people strategies helped earn Ultradent a place on Fortune’s list of the top ten workplaces in large manufacturing and production.

A Wharton-certified CHRO, University of Arkansas MBA, and founder of DisruptHR Salt Lake City, David is one of Utah’s top HR innovators who writes on leadership for global audiences. His conviction that HR must speak the language of business before earning a seat at the table shapes his career and investment in growing the next generation of HR leaders.

With “Making HR Matter,” David and co-author Ted Forbes give CEOs, CHROs, and aspiring HR professionals a practical framework for moving beyond the transactional and delivering real bottom-line impact. He believes HR done right changes lives, not just organizations.
