Born in Manchester UK. After a conventional start, David studied law at Cambridge University and became a lawyer in London. But not for long. Not suited to office incarceration, he left the profession and spent 7 years in Spain learning Spanish and teaching English. He found out at first hand just how much learners struggle to learn anything, especially when the teaching methods are questionable, if not useless. After returning to the UK, he became a freelance teacher of the card game bridge, a lifelong passion. He was eventually funded to take bridge into schools. This further exposed the dysfunctionalities in the system. The events of 2020 saw him reemerge as The People's Lawyer, when it was obvious that people’s schooling had left them with no idea of their rights nor how to assert them. He now runs online universal rights courses and is writing a sequel to School - No Place for Children, working title 'Schooling - and Other Crimes Against Humanity'
