Danyelle Scroggins is the Senior Pastor of New Vessels Ministries North in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she writes stories where faith, humor, heart, and real life meet—and where even the most respectable-looking people might be hiding a secret or two. She deeply loves the work God has entrusted to her and considers pastoring not simply her profession, but her purpose.

A pastor, publisher, bookstore owner, and mother of five, Danyelle has spent much of her life around stories: preaching them, writing them, publishing them, recommending them, and helping other writers bring theirs into the world.

Her Christian fiction combines memorable characters, relationships, faith, humor, mystery, and the kind of everyday situations that remind readers God is still present—even when life gets complicated.

In her Picnic & Peculiar Mysteries series, Danyelle introduces readers to Ivy Ridge Estates and retired FBI agent John Ivy, proving that getting older does not mean becoming invisible, losing your purpose, or minding your business when somebody has clearly committed murder.
