Author Dane Ladwig was born in 1959 in Hammond Indiana, in America. His family relocated to Illinois where Dane Ladwig spent his youth on the crime stricken streets of Chicago, in the gang scene. As a teen he was abandoned to the streets and his future began to dim. In 1998 Dane Ladwig entered Moody Bible Institute and received his first degree -- ABS in Theology. In 2012 Dane Ladwig graduated Elmhurst College with degrees in English (Creative Writing) and Philosophy. In January of 2013 Dane Ladwig released his first book, Piercing the Veils of Death. His book received a personal letter of gratitude from the Illinois General Assembly. Currently, Dane Ladwig is completing a lifelong journey of work connecting serial killer Dr. Herman Webster Mudgett a.k.a. Dr. H. H. Holmes to London's infamous Jack the Ripper.
