Damon Alaric V. Raines is a U.S.–based fantasy author and Marine Corps veteran whose love of storytelling began at fifteen and followed him through thirteen years of service, deployments, and constant change. Raised in adversity, he learned early that circumstances don’t define destiny—a belief that shapes the worlds and characters he creates.

His debut novel, Dual Fates, blends epic scale, political tension, mythic forces, and emotionally driven character bonds. Influenced by the stories that shaped him growing up, Damon writes about duality, destiny, and the choices that forge us into who we become.

Beyond writing, he pursues fitness with discipline, coaches others toward growth, explores finance, and creates art. He lives in the United States, building immersive worlds—one page at a time.
