When she isn't writing fictional people into questionable situations, D.M. can usually be found in rural Tennessee with a book in one hand, coffee in the other, and an Australian Shepherd named Asher Boone making sure absolutely nothing goes according to plan.

Outside the pages, she's a chronic-illness warrior, professional overthinker, collector of books, drinker of entirely too much coffee, and enjoys hiding from—err, spending quality time with—her friends and family.
