I was born in Edmonton Alberta. A 16mm movie of R. Buckminster Fuller in 1973 started me on my quest for a voice in the ‘making the world work’ conversation. My science degree surveyed concentric domains of human inquiry, from the cosmos, to quantum foam, to computation. Twelve years in industry ‘with a laser at the end of my mouse’ funded a return to university where I sought to acquire a language of design. My master’s thesis studied: the need for, and methods of global visualization. Years of computer aided design work had me waiting for renders providing me the opportunity to learn the guitar. Since 2005 to the present I have been reporting on and exhibiting mathematically inspired works with the Bridges MathArt Organization, Generative Arts Conference, and Joint Mathematics meetings.
