Colleen Souza brings a rare blend of warmth, wisdom, and well-timed wit to everything she does. A nationally recognized educator turned real estate leader, speaker, and now author and podcaster, she’s spent decades guiding others with straight talk, sharp insight, and the kind of practical advice you’d expect from someone who’s seen it all and still chooses joy. At the heart of Colleen’s work is a deep belief in the power of mantras: short, memorable sayings that carry big truths. For her, mantras aren’t just catchy phrases. They’re values in motion. They help shape how we lead, parent, love, and show up in a messy world. Whether she’s mentoring a new teacher, coaching a client, or recording an episode of her podcast, Colleen leans into humor, humility, and universal truths to help others lead more intentional, value driven lives. Colleen spent over 20 years in education, teaching in the classroom and mentoring teachers as a BTSA coach. She spoke on national stages about technology and standards integration for Tech & Learning magazine, launched a peer-counseling program that served thousands of students, and was nominated for California League of Middle Schools Teacher of the Year. She holds a BA in liberal studies with a minor in vocal performance and conducting from CSU Fresno, and an MEd in educational technology and psychology from Pepperdine University. In 2013, she joined her husband, Bryan, in his real estate business, The Souza Group, and became ICON Agents in the top 1% of all realtors nationwide. In 2019, Colleen was named eXp Realty International’s Mentor of the Year out of 40,000 agents. She and Bryan live in Clovis California, where they raised three remarkable humans and have spent over three decades crafting what they lovingly call The Great Adventure. Colleen’s passions include gardening, globe-trotting, and good conversations, preferably with a strong cup of coffee or a glass of fine red wine.
