Ciro Pinto, from Naples, was a manager in the banking and financial sector. Since 2011 he has dedicated himself to writing. He has published The problem of Ivana (DrawUp, 2012), The man who ran near the sea (Psiconline, 2014), Sara's glasses (Tralerighe libri, 2015), From moat to moat (Octopus, 2015 - Silloge. Co-author Rossella Gallucci), Subway (Psiconline, 2016. Co-author Rossella Gallucci), The Sparrow and the Emperor (Tralerighe libri, 2017), La casa di Posillipo (Tralerighe libri, 2019), Without pain (Laurana, 2020). Ti credo (Tralerighe libri, 2024). For his novels he has received several awards. In particular, he won the 2014 Nabokov Award, the 2014 Camuni Graffiti Award, the 2017 Yellow Garda Festival, the 2019 Yellow Nebbia Award, the 2020 Golden Holmes Award, the 2021 Libri d’Ulisse Award, the 2021 Yellow Garda Festival, the 2023 Yellow Grottammare Award. Several of his short stories and poems have won awards and are published in anthologies and e-books.
