Who am I you ask? Well, I am a poet and originally from Avon, NY and, now living in Indiana with my husband. I'm an older person, but no, I am not quite as old as dirt. As far back as I can remember, I have written poetry, and with every experience in life, I've found inspiration. The voices in my head sort out the inspiration and tell me what to write. But, I never pursued writing as a career. Instead, I pursued many careers and tried retirement for exactly one year. That year, I was living my dream. I knew that I could sit at home, eat bon-bons, and watch soap operas if that was what I wanted to do. But I have never tasted a bon-bon and I hate soap operas so retirement was not for me. I had too much time on my hands and hated the drastic pay cut, so began my new phase in life - I unretired and returned to being an OTR driver with my husband Dave and writing in my spare time. Remember the voices… always there. Two years later, I find myself unable to continue as a driver and again have too much time on my hands....what's next?...who knows. To date, I have published 10 individual poetry books, and a 9th book which is a compilation of 4 of them. In addition, I have an illustrated children's book, Caesar and the Bluebells. Some of my poetry has appeared in anthologies over the years. I have also been honored to have fellow authors give me the opportunity to write poems for use in their own published works.
