Christopher E. Fleming (Chris) is the President of CD Media Consulting, LLC, and a true believer in the power of local media done right. With over thirty years in the trenches of broadcast radio and television, Chris has steered stations to success in some of America’s biggest cities, like Houston and Miami, and some of its smallest, like Kirksville and Columbus, proving that smart sales, honest work, and solid systems win in any market. Chris built his reputation on clear processes, consistent performance, and an unwavering commitment to doing the basics better than anyone else. He’s not one for tricks or quick fixes. If you read his books, sit in his trainings, or follow his advice, you won’t find hype. You’ll find practical, real-world lessons built on innovation, ingenuity, and integrity. A native of Massachusetts, Chris grew up in Lunenburg and later lived in Clinton. He studied at Ithaca College in New York, where he earned a degree in Communications with a side passion for Central and Eastern European History. A student of people and patterns, he turned that curiosity into a career helping sellers break through excuses and deliver results. Chris holds certifications in media and marketing from the Radio Advertising Bureau, the Local Media Association, and the Television Bureau of Advertising. He’s an alumnus of the NAB’s Executive Development Program at Georgetown University and has served on the RAB’s Small Market Advisory Committee. Over the years, he’s shared ideas and insights with peers across the country as a member of the International Broadcasters Idea Bank and the National Association of Farm Broadcasters. When he’s not coaching sales teams or speaking at industry events, you might find him doing something unexpected. He once held the job as the Ring Announcer for the UFC, a role that proves Chris never shies away from anything. Today, Chris calls Louisiana home, where he lives with his wife, Danette, and their two loyal co-workers: Jax the cocker spaniel and Cali the beagle. Whether on the air, on the stage, or on the page, Chris remains dedicated to one mission: helping honest sellers outwork, outthink, and outperform the competition, one conversation at a time.
