Christine Evans grew up in England, New Zealand and Australia. On finishing school she joined a circus and played sax in rock and Balkan jazz bands. She now writes plays and fiction and lives in the U.S. Evans' TROJAN BARBIE won the Jane Chambers Award, the Plays for the 21st Century award and premiered at the American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.) in 2009. Other plays include MY VICIOUS ANGEL, SLOW FALLING BIRD, WEIGHTLESS, MOTHERGUN, CAN'T COMPLAIN and BALLAD OF THE DOGS.
