Chris Navarro is an award-winning bronze sculptor, author, and former rodeo cowboy based in Casper, Wyoming, and Sedona, Arizona. A professional artist since 1986, he has created 42 public sculptures, with work represented in 14 museum collections.

His monumental bronzes include The Messenger at the Alamo in San Antonio, Champion Lane Frost in Cheyenne, and A Deep Seat and a Long Rein, honoring Wyoming's legendary bucking horse Steamboat.

His honors include the Wyoming Governor's Art Award, Casper College Distinguished Alumni Award, and induction into the Bull Riding Hall of Fame.

Navarro is the author of five books: Chasing the Wind, Embrace the Struggle, Dare to Dream Big, The Art of Rodeo, and What Remains Wild, his first novel.

A lifelong horseman who still competes in team roping, Navarro believes the greatest reward of creating art is knowing it will stand in the sun long after he is gone, for future generations to enjoy.
