Charles is an author and keynote speaker who inspires others to embrace the power of pausing and reconnect with what truly matters. With over 20 years of leadership experience spanning the public, private, philanthropic, and nonprofit sectors, he has worked with organizations like the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Committee, Scotiabank, Ontario Trillium Foundation, and Mitacs to create meaningful change and drive transformative initiatives.

A life-changing journey around the world with his family became the foundation for his debut book, Around the World in Family Days. Part memoir, part guide, the book explores how stepping away from routine can spark personal growth, shift perspectives, and strengthen relationships. Through humorous stories and universal lessons, Charles shows how travel can help build resilience, foster deeper connections, and improve "failure immunity"—the ability to face life's challenges with curiosity and courage.

As a speaker and storyteller, Charles empowers individuals and families to intentionally pause, uncover new possibilities, and prioritize what truly matters in life. By sharing insights from his global journey, he helps others reimagine their approach to everyday challenges and embrace authentic, connected living.
