Céline Terranova was born in Mons, a small town in the south of Belgium. From a very young age, she was interested in stories and books. She was an avid reader and she started writing her first story when she was 11 (a crime mystery set in a school that was a few chapters long). During the next twenty years, she tried on every genre and type of stories. She honed her skills by writing several fanfictions that were very well received (and commented) by the public. Her most famous fanfiction, Eternal Snow, collected more than 300’000 views and 1200 reviews. Her other passion was Sciences, which is the subject that she chose to study at University. She graduated with a Master in Physics and moved to Switzerland to work in research. However, after a couple of years in this field, she decided to pursue a more creative career. In 2012, she moved to London to work in the theatre industry. Her passion for writing never faded during all these years. Moving to London meant that she had to improve her English to be able to write in this language. There again, fanfictions helped refining her style and she discovered that most of her stories, written in the science fiction genre, were heavily influenced by her scientific background. All along her writing career, she aimed to find a balance between art and day job. Now, she helps other creatives reach their potential and live a happy life. The Part-Time Artist is her first non-fiction book.
